Virtual Training: Opill Donations and Distribution

The Innovative Distribution subgroup of the Free the Pill coalition presented a virtual training on navigating Perrigo’s donation program for Opill and distributing free Opill in their communities

If you’re interested in receiving free birth control products to distribute in your community, this training is for you! Learn more about Opill—the first-ever, over-the-counter (OTC) daily birth control pill available in the United States—and how you can distribute it for free in your community!

This training is intended for people who are currently distributing Opill through Perrigo’s bulk donation program, or are considering launching a distribution program or adding Opill to an existing distribution program. You’ll hear from a provider who can answer questions about Opill, its safety profile, and how it works; as well as from organizations that have launched successful distribution programs in their communities.

You’ll walk away from this training understanding: 1) how to apply for a bulk donation from Perrigo, Opill’s pharmaceutical manufacturer; 2) how to answer questions about what Opill is and how it works; and 3) tips and tricks for distributing Opill in your community.
