On May 9, our fourth annual Free the Pill Day, we’re taking to social media to demand a future where everyone has the resources they need to make decisions about their lives with dignity and respect—a future with over-the-counter (OTC) birth control pills that are affordable, fully covered by insurance, and available to people of all ages in the United States. And we hope you’ll join us!

Here’s how you can join us:

• Show your support by posting on social media throughout the day using #FreeThePill and resharing content from Free the Pill’s social platforms

• Join our Tweetstorm from 2-3pm ET to share why you want a future with OTC birth control pills and how access to them would benefit you and your community

• Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join the movement to #FreeThePill by sharing our newly launched Free the Pill Day page

• Share stories about any barriers you’ve experienced when accessing birth control pills with our friends at Advocates for Youth to demonstrate that OTC birth control pills must be available to people of all ages—share your story here

• Watch and share the debut of #FreeThePill @ the White House from our friends at Advocates for Youth
